What can I do with a business management degree with two minors?
I am currently in college trying to graduate with a bachelors degree in business management and with two minors. I have decided that my two minors are going to be Human Resource Management and the other minor in Finances. (Its not a lot of classes to do this). What can I do with this major and these two minors. (I'm not asking what can I do using these three together...I just want some ideas on careers that I can do with any part of this degree).

A great career for you would be an Executive Recruiter. That uses your management and human resources training. If you were to specialize in financial recruiting (ie. Accountants, Financial Analysts, etc.) that would use all three emphasis! (Not that you wanted that, but anyway...) Robert Half is the largest recruiter in the United States, but it is not by any means the only one. Generally, recruiting firms make 1/3 of the candidate's first year salary. So, if you were placing a partner at an accounting firm whose first year salary was $90,000 your firm would make $30,000 on the placement. The financial structure for the associate Executive Recruiter is either salary plus commission or commission only. A commission only is typically 25 percent of the firm fee. So, your accounting partner would make you $7500. A typical Executive Recruiter places 12-15 candidates a year. One field that's really hot right now is health care recruiting, especially Pharmacist recruiting. If you take this route, you will spend much of your time on the phone cold calling candidates and using resume databases to contact potential candidates. This is a fun, financially rewarding profession.

What kind of job can I get with a Technical management degree
What kind of job can I get with a Technical management degree?
Hello all, I will be graduating in February with my BA in technical management with a minor in Computer networking. Do you think this degree will open up more opportunities for me with more money. Can anyone give me a list of what job titles I can do with this degree because I am not exactly 100% sure what I want to do, I just thought that my degree would be more versatile since it is mix of business and computers.

Be prepared to work your way up....There are a lot of technical management types in the hunt for jobs that have years of experience. This may require you to work your way up the ladder. Get some experience with some non-profits that show that you can get the job done, while working in something. The more accomplishments you can show, the better your chance of getting a good management position. Don't confuse activity with accomplishment. You need to be able to show that your actions brought about good results. Finally, remember that the team you lead will be a reflection of you. If you mentor and coach your team to be a positive reflection on the company, that's going to be a positive reflection on you and lead to promotion. Also remember that if you can't be replaced, you can't be promoted, so always be training your replacement so that when you choose to move on to better things, your company will recognize your accomplishments.

you are soon going to graduate and you are now asking this? I would say you can manage departments of airlines, aviation companies, flight schools, etc
2
Try looking into an airline's reliability, records and maintenance planning departments.

I have a couple of other answers: 1) you can manage an airport. 2) ask your college's aviation department counselor. They should have all of the up to date info. and can give you contacts and names of recent graduates in the careers that you will be interested in.

How good is the Business Management degree in Middlesex University
How good is the Business Management degree in Middlesex University?
One of my friends is looking forward to study in Middlesex Uni next year. I just wanted to know if their teaching methods/the degree in whole is just average or the best of the rest... anything regarding their business management degree will be helpful. Thanks in advance! My friend will be based in UK. Other options are Kingston and University of Hertfordshire...

The question is where are you locate at? In the United States or England? If you are located in the USA, I would say that Middlesex University is not the College for you. If in England is maybe a good College to go to. The English system of Higher Education is set on a difference skill level than that of the USA. If this to be used in anyother country in the World. I believe that is would be wise to check with the Country National Accredition Agency of how to job market is for that Degree and if the College is accredited.
