You are rewarded in the management field by your ability to produce results. A good education doesn't hurt. A master's degree is impressive, especially when you're just starting out and don't have job experience. But once you get the job, only your results will determine how lucrative the field is for you. Once you're hired, nobody cares about your education; only "what can yo do for me today". Either you're a strong leader and critical thinker or you aren't. It's much easier to get a degree in school than to be a financial success in the job force.

1.) Retail Management 2.) B2B or (more likely) B2C sales 3.) Administrative Assitant With so many people getting Bachelor's degrees, the jobs listed above are the most likely avenues to end up in. That doesn't mean that they're the only place you can go though. If you have a specific career dream, try working it part time, doing an internship, or freelancing in it after hours. A lot of times, it's not the degree but who and what you know. Good luck.

You should be fine just getting a DipEd (that's what I plan on doing after my psych degree). Otherwise you may be able to apply to the education department to get a limited authority to teach registration. Stu :-) http://www.stuartguthrie.com

You don't need a degree in education, but you do need to obtain your license. Your best bet at this point is to contact your local department of education (usually you can find them with a search engine) and find out the local requirements of certification. Chances are you will need to take the teacher test in a subject area to get licensure, also at some point you will need to become "highly qualified" as determined by the NCLB act. This means you have gone through a program, which you can often do after you are hired and working. But again, you need to get in touch with someone at the state DOE to find out what you need to do. Good luck!

Degree requirements vary according to where you want to teach. The best way to find out is to search for "teacher certification" or "teacher requirements" plus the name of the state or city where you live. For example, I live in New York State, so I'd search for teacher certification + New York. The University of Kentucky's web site links to requirements for all 50 US states. If you are not in the US, you do the same kind of search using the name of a country. One link below is for the UK.
