I am a software engineer. Can anyone justify me the need for a management degree for career growth. None of the icons in this industry are having any management degree. Also people who pursue ca management course after some experience in IT industry, go for other career lines, say finance or marketing after the course. So the question is, is it necessary or just craze everyone having now a days??

Not really. You need at least a bachelor's degree to move up and to get promotions and raises.
